Job Description
Role Purpose
This role focuses on developing, testing, and maintaining software applications or system-level programs that are deployed at the client’s end. The objective is to ensure high-quality delivery while meeting all performance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirement Analysis & Solution Design
- Understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Analyze workflows, data usage, and system processes to design appropriate software
- Identify and troubleshoot problem areas using structured development methodologies
- Perform root cause analysis for system issues and recommend improvements
- Suggest enhancements to improve performance, reliability, and availability
- Work closely with analysts, stakeholders, and project managers to align technical solutions with business needs
2. Development & Code Quality
- Develop and deliver efficient, scalable, and maintainable code
- Assess feasibility by evaluating requirements, system design, and expected outputs
- Create and execute test cases to validate software functionality
- Debug and modify applications to fix defects or enhance performance
- Plan and implement system upgrades or integrations
- Ensure code quality standards are met with minimal defects
- Maintain proper documentation for development activities and system changes
- Track progress, update status, and collaborate with the team regularly
- Provide feedback on system usability and highlight potential risks
3. Client Interaction & Reporting
- Gather detailed requirements and clarifications from clients
- Maintain regular communication to ensure timely and smooth delivery
- Stay updated with new technologies and best practices through continuous learning
- Work with engineering teams to evaluate system requirements and interfaces
- Prepare clear documentation including diagrams, reports, and technical notes
- Ensure professional communication with clients through emails, calls, and reports
- Respond promptly to client queries and avoid escalations
Deliverables & Performance Metrics
- Software Delivery: Ensure seamless integration, deployment, and monitoring with adherence to timelines and release plans
- Quality & Customer Satisfaction: Deliver projects on time, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain high customer satisfaction
- Reporting: Provide accurate and timely MIS reports and documentation
